Welcome — I’m Jennie

Hi, I’m Jennie Tabor, and I’m so glad you’re here.

If you’re reading this, you’ve probably stumbled across my little corner of the internet, so I thought the best place to start would be by introducing myself and sharing a little bit about why I created this space.

I’m originally from Arcadia, California, but my family story goes back much farther than that. My parents came to America from a small, rural village in China. Growing up, I was surrounded by a beautiful mix of cultures, traditions, food, stories, and experiences that shaped so much of who I am today.

Now, I’m here in America with my husband and our two kids, building a life and creating memories of our own. Like most families, our days can get busy. But somewhere between the everyday chaos, there are those little moments that make life feel really good—a great meal around the table, music playing in the background, a quiet morning at home, laughing with the people you love, or simply enjoying a moment that doesn’t need to be rushed.

Those are the things I love.

I love good music, good food, and good vibes. I love the feeling of home, the comfort of familiar traditions, and discovering new things that make life a little more beautiful and meaningful.

And that’s really why I created this website.

I wanted a place where I could share some of the things I love—our family life, food, inspiration, things I’m creating, things I’m discovering, and maybe a few stories along the way. Think of it as a little collection of the things that make me smile and the things I think are worth sharing.

I don’t have everything figured out, and I’m not trying to create some perfectly curated version of life. I just want to share the real, simple, beautiful parts of it.
